The most sustainable distribution centre in the Netherlands
In August, earthworks started for the new Lidl distribution centre at Park15 Logistics. The exceptionally sustainable building covering nearly 56,000 m2 will be adjacent to the Nabuurs Supply Chain Solutions distribution centre.
The distribution centre will receive the highest possible BREEAM ‘Outstanding’ certificate. All the energy required will be sustainably generated and used for the cold storage and freezer spaces, among others. Any surplus energy will be stored for use when the energy supply is low.
This seventh distribution centre for Lidl in the Netherlands is being built on a plot of more than 157,000 m2. The project has been designed by FKG Architecten aan de Zaan.
