Albert Heijn has chosen VGP Park Nijmegen at Park15 Logistics as the location for its new Home Shop Center (HSC). The new building is currently under development and is part of the first construction phase of VGP Park Nijmegen.
The new HSC, which will be Breeam Very Good certified, will offer approximately 20,000 m2 of warehouse space. In addition, it provides an office space of 2,700 m2.
The new Home Shop Center will employ approximately 1,000 new people who will collect 40,000 orders per week and deliver them to customers in the East Netherlands region.
In addition to the new location at Park15 Logistics, Albert Heijn is also opening two Home Shop Centers in Amsterdam and Bleiswijk. Together, the new locations provide more capacity and a better distribution of orders.
